  • Uncovering Market Gaps & User Pain Points –Conducted competitive analysis and user research to understand data consumption patterns in India and APAC. Identified pain points around high mobile data costs and user demand for data optimization. Worked with network operators to validate data compression opportunities

  • Crafting a Strategic Vision – Defined the Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDS) roadmap, aligning with Samsung’s mobile strategy for emerging markets. Advocated for data compression, background data restriction, and app-level optimizations as key differentiators.

  • Building & Refining a High-Impact Feature –Designed a seamless, low-friction UX for users to enable/disable data-saving mode. Worked with UX/UI designers to provide real-time data-saving insights and notifications.

  • Driving Cross-Team Execution & Collaboration – Led discussions with OS and app developers to ensure smooth functionality without disrupting critical app performance. Worked with legal & policy teams to comply with regional data regulations

  • Shaping User Journey & Driving Adoption –Developed onboarding tutorials and in-device prompts for feature adoption. Worked with marketing teams to position Ultra Data Saving Mode as a key selling point for budget-conscious users.
